Law + Technology
Despite the swirl of technological change over the past 20 years, the law has largely stayed the same. Lawyers work the same way they did decades ago, producing the same generic line of legal products.
The goal of Parsons Behle Lab is to change this trajectory. The Lab is run by Kimball Dean Parker, a legal tech entrepreneur and Director of LawX, the legal design lab at BYU Law School. The Lab will produce multiple legal technology products each year, leveraging automation, data analytics, and design thinking. In all, Parsons Behle Lab represents the most substantial technological effort undertaken by a law firm in the United States.
