Kimball Dean Parker, President, is a lawyer and award winning legal tech entrepreneur. He is the Director of LawX, the legal design lab at BYU Law School. Under his direction, LawX developed SoloSuit, an automated software that helps debt collection defendants answer a lawsuit in Utah. He is also the founder of CO/COUNSEL, a legal crowdsourcing website that visually maps the logic of the law. For his efforts to make the law accessible, Kimball received a Fastcase 50 Award, which honors “the law’s smartest, most courageous, techies, visionaries, and leaders.” He was recognized a Forty under 40 recipient by Utah Business magazine. And he was named “Statesman of the Month” by the publication Lawyer and Statesman.
Tsutomu Johnson is the COO of Parsons Behle Lab. In that capacity, he develops software that disrupts the legal market by automating legal documentation and processes. At Parsons Behle Lab, he co-created a web application called GDPR IQ, which helps organizations automate their GDPR compliance documents.
He is also an Attorney at Parsons Behle & Latimer. There, he serves as the firm’s Chief Privacy Officer and helps manage the firm’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Group. He has helped companies of all sizes with international, national, and state-based privacy compliance. He helps clients analyze their privacy obligations, draft privacy policies, and implement privacy procedures.
Before joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, he served as a Senior Vice President of Privacy and Global Corporate Counsel for Teleperformance Group, Inc.
